ReplyDeletewell pony boy, you survived a fire and a ride to philly on that death machine, good work ... RP I bet I just missed you by minutes
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming out. Good to meet you man. See you down the road.
ReplyDeleteI put that pony there .Me and Rich rode together to Ride to Skate.you can see my green rear fender 8n the picture above this one . I just put my engine in my bike the night before and took a test ride to Rich's house from Monroe Township on the Spottswood border . He said do you want to ride with me to PA .No one else wants to go . I was like ok . All the way there that Knuck was piping like a shot gun went off every so often but we made it . In the picture above it where Rich was doing some adjustments on the way there .When we got there I found the pony laying in the ground so I stuck it on Rich's bike. I never told him it was me because I forgot about it . The ride home was just as interesting . My green Bird ran excellent there and back .That engine I put in was rebuilt by Nick Patagus in the early 80s at Middlesex county motorcycle sales on Rt 516 Old bridge and Sat in a bike for 25 + years I got it from my friend Jim Kilcomins Jr in South River .it was his dad's bike and he was good friends with Nick Petagus and his brother . Ok I'm done Idiot Larry
