Mrs Jays Beer Garden

Mrs Jays beer garden Asbury park's most famous dirtbag hangout bar Jersey has ever had to offer. I loved this place! Located in asbury right next to the stone pony and the gold digger. I was a daily customer between the years 1986 to 1990 then the old girl got knocked down. I will soon be re-popping Mrs Jays t shirts. Many great stories this bar has to tell.

  4. I worked there during the summer of 81. I flipper burgers, served "death dogs", shucked clams and steamed oysters. That was an AWESOME summer. We had live bands, open mike night and arm wrestling. GOOD TIMES!!

  11. Loved the pics of Mrs. Jay's back in the day. It's worth noting that Duff McKagan of Guns n' Roses wore a Mrs. Jay's shirt in the Paradise City video. He would have been right at home there.

  12. I worked there in '75 with Harry Gick, up front grilling, and making pizza, shucking clams. The live music was awesome and the beer and tequila flowed, how I miss those days...
